Yvonne is working to spread the stoke and get more children under the age of 10 outdoors and active. In 2018, she organized many events and helped over 200 children ride bikes. She has been organizing for bike parks, and more interesting, integrated trails on Southern Vancouver Island.
She brings people together to play on bikes, explore outdoors and share new adventures. Along with her husband, she runs a bike lending library for kids from her house.  Most recently, Yvonne lead the call for a big youth bike skills park in Saanich.
She loves spending time building trails and riding with her husband and 2 young children and friends. Their favourite trails to ride or hike are Rabbit Trail at Cobblehill Nature Park, Phelps Trail in Victoria, Fine China in Nanaimo. As a family, they love building trails, surfing and camping. 
Yvonne started Topaz Bike Club (GVCC) and is the VP of the Greater Victoria Cycling Coalition (GVCC). She is also the Advocacy Co-Director for South Island Mountain Biking. In 2020, her goal is to buy 80 bicycles for inner city youth. Yvonne works in IT for a government agency.
