Originally hailing from the UK, Kathryn’s childhood was spent hiking the Pennines with her family in West Yorkshire. After completing a degree at Durham University in Business and Anthropology, and a Masters Degree at Leeds Metropolitan University in International Management, her love of travel and the outdoors took her around the world and brought her to Canada. Kathryn is currently raising 2 wild little boys who adore nature and being outside. As a family they regularly hike and bike local trails and she is a big advocate for getting families out in nature together. As Fundraising Co-Chair Kathryn is excited to bring her fundraising experience with the Vancouver Aquarium and Vancouver General Hospital & UBC Hospital Foundation, to the Nature Trails Society. Connecting people with nature and understanding the value of our natural environment is key to protecting our beautiful forests and ensuring sustainability in our land use.
