Location – Off the Westshore Parkway in Langford BC.

As a Trail Builder, you will work in pairs with safety at the front of mind at all times. We provide the tools and training and you arrive to prepared to work outside (despite weather) at an assigned job site(s).

You are a positive, team player who understands that clear communication is key to success. You are passionate about the outdoors and are community minded. First aid certification and previous experience is an asset. Reliable transportation and a drivers license is a must.

Working Conditions:

• 20-40 hour work week, some weekends. Work varies depending on job sites. 
• 8 hours shifts, generally between 8am and 5pm on 4 to 5 days a week.
• Must be able to receive group text messages , be able to collaborate, and provide daily updates back to a supervisor/project manager while working on trail projects.
• As this is a physical job, you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and repeatedly bend, reach, turn, stretch, climb etc. throughout the shift.

For safety and WorkSafe BC compliance, builders must work in pairs at all times. As such, full vaccination against COVID-19 is mandatory for this position. All precautions will be taken to ensure a safe working internment to be considerate of COVID-19.

Part-time-full-time: 20-40 hour per week, depending on the situation.

Wage: $21-$25 per hour
