Accent Inns is a British Columbia based hotel chain seeking to provide their guests with a unique and affordable experience, a pint-sized hotel with a big personality. Spin Mortgage is an easy online mortgage process that operates Canada-wide, with its headquarters located in beautiful Victoria. Why are they named SPIN? VITA
The Vancouver Island Trail Association promotes and supports a proposed trail from Victoria to Cape Scott on Vancouver Island. Over 700 km long, the trail will link existing trails into a linear recreation facility for non-motorized travel for Island residents and tourists alike. VITA, the association promoting the VI Spine Trail, has been operating since 2009 as a registered non-profit society.
VITA has constructed new trail and is working to connect many other trails and unused logging roads to provide access to the wilderness backcountry and working forests of the Island. VITA cooperates with the Trans Canada Trail, many outdoor clubs, regional and local governments, in planning the trail alignment and seeking access to lands which are owned by private forestry companies and Crown land, including traditional lands of First Nations.

The District of Sooke
Sooke is a vibrant, dynamic and welcoming community. They believe they are fortunate to be located close to nature, and their town motto of “Where the Rainforest Meets the Sea” speaks to the environmental riches of the area. The District supports land use and development principles that preserve their natural environment, while also creating affordable and accessible housing that allow families to put down roots and thrive as members of the community.
The Greater Victoria Greenbelt Society
The Greater Victoria Greenbelt Society considers the natural world to be a precious and necessary partner to the healthy existence of all beings including humans. They believe that all aspects of nature deserve to be respected and protected now and for future generations.
They are currently working on the Mary Lake Nature Sanctuary, located in the Highlands.
The Outdoor Club of Victoria
The Outdoor Club of Victoria has been providing adult hiking for people who are interested in and enjoy outdoor activities for over 70 years. They schedule hikes every week as well as occasional bike rides and camping trips throughout the year.
Their mission statement: “We are a club of like-minded outdoor loving people. We offer members enjoyable and safe hiking trips and social occasions to get together.”
theSignPad
At theSignPad they believe in minimizing their impact on the environment in our community. In an effort to minimize their footprint, they are the first sign shop in Victoria to implement a recycling program for their waste scraps of corrugated plastic, polycarbonate and acrylic signs. They also use eco-solvent inks in their digital printer, which minimizes the use of harsh solvents in our environment.
